Alcoholics Anonymous: AA New Orleans Central Office. Includes meeting locations and information for local resources.
Al-Anon: Resources for Greater New Orleans area adults and teen family members of people who have been affected by a loved one’s addiction. In person and virtual meetings available.
Adult Children of Alcoholics and Dysfunctional Families: Adult Children of Alcoholics (ACA)/Dysfunctional Families is a Twelve Step, Twelve Tradition program of people who grew up in dysfunctional homes. ACA provides a safe, nonjudgmental environment that allows us to grieve our childhoods and conduct an honest inventory of ourselves and our family—so we may (i) identify and heal core trauma, (ii) experience freedom from shame and abandonment, and (iii) become our own loving parents.
SMART Recovery: Meeting guide for SMART Recovery meetings in New Orleans. SMART Recovery is an evidenced-informed recovery method grounded in Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
Recovery Dharma: Recovery Dharma offers a trauma-informed, empowered approach to recovery based on Buddhist principles. Meetings are peer-led and non-theistic.

Southeast Louisiana Legal Services: SLLS provides free, civil legal aid to low-income people in six offices, across 22 parishes throughout southeast Louisiana. Louisiana Commission Against Domestic Violence: The Louisiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence is the federally designated statewide coalition of shelters, non-residential programs and individuals working to end domestic violence in Louisiana. Louisiana Foundation Against Sexual Assault (LAFASA): Local sexual assault centers throughout Louisiana. 24/7 Hotline provides crisis support, help with managing trauma, and information about local service providers.
